Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. She also served as a member of the SSC as producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director and as a text coach in addition to serving as Artistic Director. For her last year she worked as a lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in last year made her directorial debut. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of game shows. Their two daughters and sisters were nurtured in the home of her science-minded father Richard F.
